What is PowerView Automation®?
The 2022, newly improved PowerView® Automation operating system from Hunter Douglas exists to make sure that your stunning Hunter Douglas blinds, shades, shutters, and more, move according to your preferred schedule. With this system, your shades will move where you want, when you want, while operating independently, giving you convenient and precise control over the light, privacy, even the temperature in your home. The ability to program your window treatments also allows you to maximize whatever feature of your shades is most important to you, whether that is natural light, privacy, temperature, or energy-efficiency.
How does PowerView® Automation work?
Programming and operating your Hunter Douglas window treatments with PowerView® Automation is almost as easy as it is convenient. PowerView® Automated window treatments can even be operated by a few different methods so you can use the system in a way that works for your lifestyle.
- Use the Pebble® Remote! Say goodbye to big clunky remotes and say hello to the palm-sized Pebble® Remote from Hunter Douglas! This remote can operate up to six different window treatments for on-demand and precise light control. If you are worried about misplacing it, you can opt for the wall-mounted version instead.
- Control with Bluetooth®! Thanks to Bluetooth technology, your Hunter Douglas window treatments will always be where you want them. Bluetooth® technology features real-time, two-way communication between your shades and the PowerView® system. It does not get much easier than that!
- Try Voice Control! That is right, these window treatments can also be operated by voice. You can program your window scenes to adjust using Siri® on your iPhone®, iPad® or HomePod™, the Amazon Alexa, or the Google Assistant.
- Get the PowerView® App! Available on both Apple® and Android™ smartphones and tablets, the PowerView® Automation App gives you the ability to control your shades with the swipe of a finger! The PowerView® App can create custom scenes that will move shades to your preferred position, then automate them to move on their own throughout the day.
- Add a PowerView Gateway! The Powerview® Gateway allows you to get even more from your system. The Gateway can integrate your automated shades with other manufacturers’ smart home systems with access to Remote Connect, so you can adjust your window treatments from anywhere in the world!
